- Place the compress on a clean dinner plate on the rotating tray of your microwave.
- Microwave for 20 seconds. For additional heat, microwave in 5-second increments as needed.
- Do not exceed 30 seconds.
- Always touch-test before placing over your eyes. If the compress feels too hot, allow it to cool for 1-2 minutes before use.
- Apply over closed eyes for 10 minutes or as directed by your doctor.
- If reused within 30 minutes, reduce heating time by half.
